Mild weather during the winter season

Camping during the winter may not be an experience that many people have contemplated, but if you are intrigued by the idea of trying something different for your holidays, then Lošinj is the perfect location to visit. During the winter season the island's weather can be a pleasantly surprising experience compared to most other European destinations. Acknowledged to be the second most sunny location in Croatia, and one of the sunniest in Europe, Lošinj's average air temperature during the winter months is around 7 degrees centigrade and with generally a mild climate during the winter season.

A larger campsite and more facilities

In preparation for the camp opening all year round a significant number of improvements have been made to the campsite, which will be especially beneficial for guests interested in trying out camping during the winter.   

Camp Čikat has been enlarged by one hectare providing more space to accommodate guests. It has heated sanitary facility (only one sanitary sanitary facility is open the whole winter period). But the improvements don't stop there! The camp's Superior pitches have been increased and are now much larger with better and clearer borders between them. Their layout has be re-arranged so that they are better situated facing the sea proving beautiful sea-views from each pitch, as well as offering much better protection from any winds. Finally, all the superior pitches have electricity and water connections available to them.

• Use of wellness services at special rates in hotel Punta - special offers for campsite guests
